Mr. John Evans has been a band director in Berks County for 31 years and has been teaching in the Muhlenberg School District for 23 years. He is also president of the Music Educators of Berks County.

Mr. Nathan Mohler has been a music educator for 15 years and has been teaching band at Muhlenberg HS for the past 6 years. Nate is a Berks native, having grown up in Kutztown.

Mr. A.J. Evans teaches elementary band in the Muhlenberg school district. This is his 2nd year on the BSBI staff and previously was an intern for 3 years.

Mr. Michael Bagenstose, percussion assistant, is a Music Education student at Kutztown University majoring in Percussion.  Mr. Bagenstose has taught our percussion students for many years.

BSBI also runs a college intern program which gives music education majors an opportunity to enhance their teaching skills.
